Circularity, sustainability, and reusability modeling leveraging information from projects (e.g., AIDEAS, SUN XR) to meet UniMaaS needs. A taxonomy and modeling framework to integrate circularity, sustainability, and reusability criteria in manufacturing optimization models within UniMaaS. The taxonomy provides a set of parameters, decision variables and objectives through five dimensions: environmental, social, economic, resilient and human-centric applicable to each pilot, that serve as a basic structure to extend or compare manufacturing optimization models through different industrial contexts.
Main Innovations
- A taxonomy structured to be integrated into the formulation of manufacturing optimization models, incorporating sustainability criteria as parameters, decision variables, and objectives, rather than as information indicators, which is the case in most existing frameworks.
- Beyond the usual environmental, social and economic dimensions, it incorporates resilience and human-centred criteria, which are not addressed in most sustainability frameworks applied to manufacturing optimization.
