Description
The cloud-based resource monitoring engine is responsible for enabling the monitoring of manufacturing resources belonging in the physical smart manufacturing layer. It acts as an interoperable layer and a monitoring engine stack using open-source solutions, i.e., InfluxDB, VO-WoT and AAS. Moreover, it is considered and handled as another participant connected to the dataspace by utilizing the EDC Connector. The cloud-based monitoring engine monitors and stores historical and time-series data necessary for the implementation of AI-based predictions and AI-assisted DTs.
