The CMfg Orchestrator is responsible for the coordination, and execution of the UniMaaS Platform workflows. Its functionalities extend across all UniMaaS layers, orchestrating interactions between all vital components, and external systems such as ERP platforms, and MES. Its role is to ensure that the appropriate functionalities are invoked in the correct sequence during the execution of a manufacturing request or an internal optimization process. Leveraging cloud-native orchestration technologies and workflow-management mechanisms, it enables scalable, reliable, and distributed coordination of manufacturing operations within heterogeneous MaaS environments.
