Description
Zero-X Evaluator undertakes the formal analysis, quantification and satisfaction level evaluation of supply chain properties regarding uncertainty, performance margins, waste generation, circularity, and sustainability. Such properties will subsequently be used as a decision criterion for supply chain reconfiguration, maintenance, and/or risk management, among others. For that purpose, the constructed models will be leveraged either by incorporating relevant system variables and constraints or by mapping Zero-X properties to appropriate mathematical arguments (e.g., algebraic functions, as well as first-order and temporal logic statements) for automatic assessment and feasibility verification. For the implementation of these mechanisms, reachability and set-based methods for hybrid systems are utilized, when providing deterministic guarantees is crucial, regardless of the incurred computational cost. Randomization and data-driven techniques are applied, providing probabilistic guarantees with a tunable complexity, or both aforementioned approaches are applied interchangeably depending on the setting.
